Hulk Hogan has yet to put pen to paper and sign a new WWE contract. However, Vince McMahon apparently believes in Hogan's word enough to invest serious television time into him. While McMahon is under the impression that he has a verbal committment with Hogan, and a merchandise committment, which is legally binding anyway, Hogan can still walk out and go home if asked to put over someone he isn't interested in jobbing to. We all saw this scenerio last year when Hogan was asked to put over Lesnar a second time at the Survivor Series pay-per view
Expect Shane McMahon to get involved in the Hogan/McMahon "20 years in the making" match tonight. You'll obviously see the usual street-fight scenerio with a lot of blading and weapon usage, but as far as bumps are concerned, Shane McMahon could fit that role. Don't be shocked to see a lot of run-ins and surprises come out of this one.Steve Austin's phyiscal condition isn't the greatest to say the least. Austin is still battling pretty severe neck soreness and it's said to have management concerned as to how much he's still capable of in the ring. This is why Austin was given two matches with Bischoff since returning, so he could get back into ring shape as best as possible and give management an idea on how much gas he has left in the tank. The company is banking a lot on Rock to make Austin look good and keep his character strong from an in-ring aspect.
It's likely that Paul Heyman will make his return tonight at WrestleMania after the Angle/Lesnar match. One scenerio that seems likely would be for Lesnar to get the title off Angle clean and then have Heyman bring the troops (Team Angle) down to attack Kurt for losing to the arch-enemy of Heyman's clan. This would explain Angle's injury and upcoming absence, turn him babyface as rumored, and keep strong heel heat on Team Angle who won't have Kurt to bank on for heat anymore after tonight
It's pretty much a lock now that Kevin Nash will be returning to WWE under the "Diesel" gimmick. It's possible that he'll debut at WrestleMania, although it's not a guarantee. The likely return date for Nash is the RAW the night after WrestleMania in Seattle. Wouldn't be the best move since he would take away from Goldberg's debut, and vice-versa, but that's the plan.
It's also likely that he will be involved with Shawn Michaels at some point upon returning.
